I was born in the city of Vancouver in the province of British Columbia, Canada to Portuguese parents on May 13, 1976. I first got into bodybuilding at the age of 14 after a friend introduced me to it. I trained until the age of 19 and then took a 15-year lay-off from the gym as I like to say “life happened”. Basically, life took me on other journeys. Then at the age of 34, being 8 years ago now as I am now 42, got back into training and bodybuilding after watching my first bodybuilding show. I then turned professional five years later in 2015 by winning the overall title at the Canadian national championships were I obtained my pro card. I have competed professionally for the last 3 years obtaining 3 top 5 finishes during that time.
My stage weight is around 260 lbs and usually sit around 300 lbs in my offseason and have gotten to my heaviest offseason weight of 325 in 2017.
I do some personal training as my regular career and love to motivate people through that and especially through my social media. My goals are to hopefully compete on the MR Olympia stage one day but most importantly is to keep changing people’s lives through motivation.
