The first memories I can honestly remember, are of my mother taking me to the gym nursery. Watching her train her classes and clients every day made me fall in love and she was my hero; simultaneously, I soaked in every ounce of gym I could from the days in the nursery, to watching my mom compete. My father never let me play sports. He didn't take the time to see how capable I was so when he left, I took advantage of that and did what felt right. Stepped up as the man of the house and began working on the man I wanted to be for my future.
I struggled socially, academically and mentally from an early age. With such a loud spirit, I couldn't contain myself anywhere but the gym, which was equally as hard and rewarding. As my body expanded, so did my mind. Through sacrifice, discipline, drive and insanity, I've solved most of my mysteries through the gym. As I said, I struggled since the beginning. I know how it feels to be lonely and on the edge of giving up. I do what I do so that nobody that I come across ever has to feel the way I did. My ultimate goal is to help others set themselves free of societal grip through mastery of their body, followed by mind, then spirit. Jesus Christ is my ultimate motivation and since he saved my life I've never been the same.
I'm after Mr. Olympia. My eyes have been set since young and my mind made up. There's no point in settling for mediocre at any point. It's time the little guy stood up and took his claim in life. You'd have to kill me to stop me. This is my one dream and my one life and I'll be damned if I let anyone take that away from me.
My name is Colton Blake and my purpose is to earn victory and light up the world for others.
