EXPERIENCE

I grew up in an athletic family and always played a ton of sports, excelling in basketball. After high school, I played college basketball but decided to transfer to a different college in the same conference, after my first semester. Because of NCAA rules, I had to sit out a semester from basketball so I decided I needed to stay in shape in the meantime. I started going to the weight room and was fortunate enough to have an older competitive bodybuilder take me under his wing and teach me.

I started to pack on muscle very quickly under his training and nutrition guidance, going from 150lbs athletic to 205lbs extremely lean, in just a little over three months. At this point, I knew my calling was in bodybuilding and strength sports, as I added muscle and strength quicker than anyone around. Fast forward to 23 years old where I suffered a partial pec tear when I was incline benching 555lbs. I had to step back from the gym and my corporate management career took over my life. I put all my effort into my career and stopped training.

A few years went by and I was out of shape, but lacked the motivation in the gym anymore. Then in 2015, my younger brother passed away do to a drug overdose at the young age of 23. I remember looking in the mirror after his funeral and thinking how disappointed he would be in me, as he had always been my training partner and biggest fan. I was letting this gift I was given in the gym, fly away. That moment changed my life.

Now here I am four years later loving life, training people around the world, and preparing myself to get back into the competitive side of things and absolutely killing it.
